Best Things To Do in Nashville, TN With Private Transportation

From the divey honky tonks of Music Row to the esteemed art galleries of East Nashville, Tennessee has something for everyone. But as Nashville’s population grows, so does the number of must-see attractions that expand further and further from downtown. This article explores the best things to do in Nashville and how private transportation services help you indulge without worrying about getting from one place to another.

Embark on a Private Sightseeing Tour Through Endearing Destinations

Nashville overflows with historic landmarks and cultural gems just waiting to be discovered, like the Country Music Hall of Fame. The best way to immerse yourself is by embarking on a private sightseeing tour. This allows you to customize the experience based on your interests. Some top picks include:

Delight in Signature Country Music at the Grand Ole Opry

No trip to Music City is complete without experiencing the Ryman Auditorium or Grand Ole Opry’s musical mastery. This country music stage show has been broadcast weekly since 1925, making it the longest-running radio program in history. Watch as talented musicians bring down the house with foot-stomping country classics.

Insider tip: Book backstage tours to see the performers prep behind the scenes.

Relish Artistic Masterpieces at Frist Art Museum

With its stunning Art Deco architecture, Frist Art Museum itself is a work of art. Beyond the façade, a treasure trove of exhibits awaits to astound art aficionados. From American folk art to Renaissance masterpieces, these diverse collections are certain to inspire.

Fun fact: Admission is free for visitors 18 and under.

Explore Historic Riches at Belle Meade Plantation

Transport back to the 19th century with a tour of Belle Meade Plantation. Don’t miss the onsite winery that offers wine tastings of southern varietals.

Pro tip: Opt for the specialty bourbon tour for behind-the-scenes access.

Unwind in Nashville’s Exquisite Culinary Landscape

Nashville’s dining scene has everything from down-home Southern cooking to avant-garde establishments. Private transportation makes navigating the city simple, allowing you to focus on tantalizing your taste buds. Can’t miss experiences include:

Dine On Culinary Excellence at The Catbird Seat

The Catbird Seat’s intimate chef’s counter surrounds diners with culinary action as artists prepare each delectable plate. With the menu changing daily, every visit promises new flavors to savor. Wanting a nightcap? The Patterson House cocktail bar is right next door.

Warning: Reservations are difficult to snag, so plan ahead.

Spice Up Your Life With Hattie B’s Hot Chicken

No Nashville food tour is complete without hot chicken. Hattie B’s does it best with perfected spice blends for any tolerance level. Come hungry, as these succulent fried chicken servings are hands-down some of the city’s heartiest eats.

Insider tip: Expect long lines at peak times, but it moves quickly.

Savor Artisanal Drink Creations at Mother’s Ruin

Mother’s Ruin pours artistry into every drink, from creative cocktails to small-batch liquors. Sidle up to the brass bar and let the mixologists work their magic. Standouts include the barrel-aged Negroni and gimlet featuring housemade gin.

Bartender’s advice: Snag a seat when available; this bustling small spot fills quickly.

Pour Yourself Into Craft Beer Bliss at Fat Bottom Brewing

Fat Bottom Brewing brings traditional techniques and boundary-pushing imagination together for award-winning craft beers. Sip hoppy IPAs, roasty stouts, and refreshing sours in their taproom or beer garden. Brewery tours are available.

Brewmaster’s recommendation: Plan on extra time here; between the large courtyard, great beers, and exceptional food, you’ll be in no rush to leave.

Drinker’s wisdom: Bring tipping money for the live music acts; you’ll never regret supporting local.

Delight in Live Music Sessions at Bluebird Cafe

Bluebird Cafe offers a cozy setting to catch emerging singer-songwriters before they hit it big. Legends like Taylor Swift took the stage here early in their careers. Prepare to be wowed by raw musical talent in this storied 90-seat venue.

Bragger’s boast: Jot down the names of the artists you watch perform. You never know when they’ll be the next massive star.

Co-Founder/Managing Member

In 2006 Mr. Strack answered an ad to become a limo driver while bootstrapping another new business venture. After less than a year he found himself hesitantly buying the book of business from his then employer. This opportunity started off his now 17th year of being in the transportation business operating luxury transportation and bus charter services in multiple locations.

Mr. Strack was schooled on customer service from earlier years as a sales representative at Nordstroms and embraced going above and beyond for his clientele. Delivering the best service possible is what the company brands are known for in Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN. Matthew has a degree in Economics from UCLA and is happily married to our co-founder Meagan Strack residing in Nashville with their children.

Her passion for building relationships with clients, hotels, Destination Management Companies, etc., is what has gotten Victory Ground off the ground at a steady pace, but not without the support of her team. Meagan’s biggest focus and goal with Victory Ground is ensuring that they offer the best service and do the details consistently every time.
